Bold Stories, Brave Hearts: The Launch of Tales of Boldness and Faith

A New Book Series for Young Readers

Hello, dear Substack friends!

Over the past 22 years, I’ve delighted in reading beautiful stories to my children. My favourite genre became biographies, especially fictionalised retellings of lives we grew to love. Through these stories, I invited missionaries, scientists, artists, and travellers into our home, weaving their adventures into the tapestry of our family life. We travelled the globe through the pages of these books, enriching our lives with their wisdom and wonder. These were the books I cherished most, and they inspired me to write stories like them—for your children to enjoy, learn from, and treasure.

Living books have always held a special place in my heart. They ignite curiosity, spark imagination, and connect readers to ideas that shape character and understanding. For me, a living book is one that stirs both the mind and the soul—rich in narrative, beautifully written, and alive with meaning. These stories become companions, teaching us not just knowledge but truth, empathy, and perspective.

As I read to my children, I saw how living books planted seeds of wonder and inspired deep conversations. They taught history through people, faith through lived experience, and courage through the struggles of real lives. This is why I’ve poured my heart into creating books that your children can grow with—books that feed their minds, fill their hearts, and live on in their imaginations. Writing stories that breathe life into history and faith is not just a passion; it’s my way of contributing to the shared journey of learning and growing together.

I am beyond thrilled to finally share with you that my new book series, Tales of Boldness and Faith, is launching soon! These fictionalised biographies for children aged 8-12 blend real history with imaginative storytelling to inspire young minds. The series features stunning original illustrations by Jessica Clark and is published by Moody Publishers. These living books are brimming with faith, hope, and encouragement—crafted to ignite curiosity and wonder with every story. 📚 Book 3: Brave Princess Aina: The Courageous Heart of Sarah Forbes Bonetta
Release Date: August 2025
